The India AI Impact Summit 2026, hosted in New Delhi from the 16th to the 21st of February, concluded with an Awards Ceremony recognising outstanding AI innovations across three flagship initiatives. Namely: AI by HER, AI for ALL, and YuvaAI, highlighting the Summit's focus on inclusive innovation, large-scale societal impact, and youth-led participation in India's growing AI ecosystem. The event brought together policymakers, researchers, global industry leaders, civil society organisations, and international bodies, all unified around the mission of building AI that genuinely serves people.

A defining theme of the Summit was empowering unconventional innovators to build solutions for real-world challenges, ensuring that citizens do not remain mere users of AI but become creators: democratising innovation and reinforcing India's people-centric AI vision. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw described it as 'the world's largest AI summit, reflecting the scale and ambition of India's AI vision.'

The AI for All Global Impact Challenge

The AI for ALL Challenge recognised scalable AI solutions with the potential to deliver large-scale societal impact across sectors, evaluated through a rigorous multi-stage process by panels of domain experts, policymakers, and industry leaders. The competition drew entries from across six continents, making it one of the most geographically diverse AI innovation challenges ever conducted. Winners received financial incentives of up to ₹2.5 crore, alongside mentorship, pilot opportunities, and strategic partnerships to support national and global expansion.

The Top 10 selected solutions reflect the breadth of AI applications addressing societal needs, spanning healthcare diagnostics, climate-resilient agriculture, financial inclusion, soil intelligence, and mental health. A high-level panel discussion titled 'Leveraging AI to Drive Development Objectives in the Global South' ran alongside the challenge, examining how inclusive AI ecosystems can be built to serve emerging economies at scale. Infiheal's selection in this context speaks directly to that mandate.

Healo: Responsible AI Mental Healthcare

Behind Infiheal's winning entry is Healo, an AI mental health companion delivering culturally sensitive, evidence-based psychological support to underserved communities. Within just over a year of officially launching, Healo has touched one million users, with 91 per cent reporting feeling better after using the platform. Available in 93+ languages with HIPAA-compliant security, Healo is built for genuine accessibility, not just scale.

A Milestone for Inclusive Mental Health Innovation

This win builds on Infiheal's recognition as Best AT Startup, People's Choice at the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024 and continues a consistent track record of being validated at the highest levels of both technology and public policy. From the grassroots #HealOnAuto campaign on Mumbai's streets to a platform reaching users across continents, Infiheal's journey reflects what happens when clinical rigour meets a genuine commitment to equity.
