Terms and Conditions & User Consent for Therapist Matching
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By clicking the checkbox and proceeding with the therapist matching process, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Service Overview
Infiheal provides an AI-powered mental health AI Assistant service designed to support users in managing their mental health issues and disorders. As part of our service, users may be matched with a licensed therapist from our network of in-house mental health professionals.
2. No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes
While our goal is to provide support through both our AI Assistant and licensed therapists, Infiheal makes no guarantees regarding the effectiveness, suitability, or specific outcomes of the therapy sessions. Therapy is a collaborative process and results may vary based on individual circumstances.
3. User Responsibility
Therapeutic Decisions: The decision to engage with a matched therapist is entirely at the user's discretion. Users are responsible for evaluating the suitability of the therapist for their needs.Disclosure of Information: Users must provide accurate, complete and honest information regarding their mental health history and current issues. Any failure to disclose relevant information is the user's sole responsibility.Active Participation: Users are responsible for actively participating in their therapeutic journey, including attending scheduled sessions, following through with therapeutic recommendations and communicating any concerns directly with their therapist.4. User Behavior Guidelines
To ensure a productive and respectful therapeutic environment, users agree to adhere to the following behavior guidelines during their sessions with therapists:
Respect and Dignity: Treat the therapist with respect and dignity at all times.Active Participation: Engage in the therapeutic process by honestly sharing thoughts, feelings and concerns.Punctuality: Attend sessions on time and provide at least 24 hours' notice if rescheduling or canceling.Honesty and Transparency: Provide accurate and truthful information regarding mental health and personal circumstances.Commitment to the Process: Attend sessions on time and provide at least 24 hours' notice if rescheduling or canceling.Follow through with the therapeutic plan and be open to feedback.Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of therapy sessions and avoid recording or sharing session details without consent.Personal Responsibility: Take responsibility for applying what is learned in therapy to daily life.Safety and Well-being: Prioritize safety and communicate any thoughts of self-harm or harm to others to the therapist.Feedback and Concerns: Discuss any concerns or feedback about the therapy process directly with the therapist.Technology Etiquette: Ensure a quiet, private environment for virtual sessions, free from distractions.5. Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel a therapy session, please email your cancellation request to support@infiheal.com at least 12 hours before your scheduled session time. Cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for a refund. Your understanding and adherence to this policy help us maintain the quality and availability of our services.
6. Limitations of Liability
Therapist Services: Infiheal acts only as an intermediary to facilitate the matching of users with therapists. The therapeutic relationship is solely between the user and the therapist. Infiheal is not responsible for the quality, appropriateness, or outcomes of the therapy provided.Third-Party Interaction: Any interaction between the user and the therapist, including communication and treatment, is conducted at the user's own risk. Infiheal disclaims any liability arising from the therapeutic process or any issues that may arise during or after therapyInfiheal should completely indemnify itself to ensure that no such incidents lead back to us. All privacy and policies should mention that “Infiheal and or its employees including but not limited to psychologists, counselors, consultants… etc will not be held responsible or accountable and cannot be called into court in the case of any mishap that may occur with any and all user7. Confidentiality and Privacy
User Data: Infiheal prioritizes the privacy of user data. Any information shared with the AI Assistant or therapist will be handled with strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.Legal Exceptions: Infiheal and its therapists are obligated to disclose user information if required by law (e.g., in cases of harm to self or others) to the respective authorities or personnel to ensure your safety.Professional Supervision: From time to time, consistent with her ethical obligations, Our Therapists may consult with other therapists about your treatment. Supervision helps your therapist ensure that they are treating you appropriately. However, in the event your therapist becomes aware of a conflict of interest, they will appropriately limit or eliminate such consultation. All therapists involved in the consultation are ethically bound to preserve confidentiality to the same extent as your therapist.8. Termination of Services
User-Initiated Termination: Users may choose to terminate their engagement with the therapist at any time. However, it is recommended that the user discuss their decision with the therapist to ensure a smooth transition.Infiheal-Initiated Termination: Infiheal reserves the right to terminate a user's access to therapist services at its discretion, especially in cases where it is determined that the user's needs exceed the scope of services provided.9. Acknowledgment and Consent
By clicking the checkbox and using our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to all the above terms and conditions, including the guidelines for user behavior and the cancellation policy. You also agree that the responsibility for the therapeutic relationship, including its outcomes, lies solely with you and the therapist. Infiheal bears no responsibility for the therapy provided.
10. Modifications to Terms
Infiheal reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Required Signature
By proceeding with the service, I acknowledge that I have read and understood all the above information and that I agree to the terms and conditions outlined, including the guidelines for user behavior and the cancellation policy. I accept full responsibility for my engagement with the matched therapist.
